Welcome to Pre-Marital Wedding Counseling
As a young person, ever since I read Jung's Memories, Dreams & Reflections (MDR), I felt Called to provide Pre-Marital Wedding Counseling dedicated to helping individuals achieve their goals and live a fulfilling life. In MDR Carl Jung describes words we use every day like Introversion, Extroversion & Mid-Life Crisis, which Called me to become a Registered Psychotherapist. Studying at the city of New York's Ackerman Institute for the Family ( 2001-2 https://www.ackerman.org/ ) with years of experience, I eventually obtained my life-long dream as a Registered "R" Psychotherapist. -- that Registered "R" privilege obtained 1/6/2009 (Epiphany) with NY State allowed me to develop highly personalized programs that ring a royal oath (cf. Jeremiah 7:5-7), ringing not hollow, to the unique needs and dreams of my clients.
Now, as a Retired Reformed Pastor (Carl Jung 's father was a Reformed Pastor) that uses Canonical Lectionary Narrative, my approach specifically addresses the Archetypes of Jungian evidence-based practices with empathy, non-judgmental/non-demanding, warm/caring and goal-oriented outcomes before your Wedding. Like the Dream Analytical Psychiatrist, Carl Gustav Jung, I believe in empowering my clients to gain self-awareness, confidence, and the skills needed to overcome any obstacles that come their way. Joy's intuition inspires my clients to “live-out“ a life-in-love like Emily Dickinson, who emphasizes our loving choices in JOY when Dickinson poetically expressed :
"I HAD no time to hate, because the grave would hinder me, and life was not so ample I could finish enmity. Nor had I time to love; but since some industry must be, the little toil of love, I thought, was large enough for me." (#763 c.1863, Franklin, R.W.,The Poems of Emily Dickinson, The Belknap of Harvard Press/Cambridge, MA & London, England,p.341)
Here is when Dickinson poetically expresses the joyful freedom of love just before the end of 1862. A 100 years and 7 months after New Year 's Day's Emancipation Proclamation Martin Luther King Jr's "Dream" recalls that "joyous day" to-end-the-crime-of-Slavery. Before that 1863 New Year's Day Proclamation, on 9/17/1862 Supreme Court Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes Jr., at 21 years of age who fought as Captain Oliver, survived a shot-through-Holmes'-neck and left-for-dead on a Civil War battle field at Antietam --- the bloodiest day of our American history at Antietam, Md -- just 75 miles from our US Capitol.
Hence, surviving that deadly time Justice Holmes, Jr. felt the Calling of Dickinson's 1863 dissenting DREAM for no time to hate in a little toil of industry, legally, by laboring in the law that others loved to later lift up (Eph.4:28 Geneva Bible, 'By laboring in things that are holy, and profitable to...neighbor'). Holmes' famous legal Supreme Court decisions lifted-others-up so his labor of love didn't lean on our land when there are hyenas lying loosed, especially Holmes' famous unanimous Supreme Court decision on Free Speech when Holmes said: "Don't yell fire in a crowded Theater!"
Our vulnerability is just all we have to give Others without enmity. After the Civil War, Justice Holmes, the great Supreme Court dissenter, similarly has had the largest number of legal opinions that ever had been quoted, which 🔔 rings, not hollow, but always joyfully .
